What this means for schools, students, and families

Mind Metrics Psychological Services, PC is approved and certified by the State of California as a Nonpublic Agency (NPA). This certification allows us to provide specialized services to students receiving special education support through public school districts, charter schools, and SELPAs. Services may be delivered in person, virtually, or on school campuses depending on student and program needs.

As a certified NPA, Mind Metrics has met the state’s standards for program quality, staff qualifications, safety, insurance, and compliance with California regulations. During the certification process, the State of California reviews agency programs, professional credentials, licensure, and operational practices to ensure high-quality and compliant service delivery.

The State of California requires that any agency wishing to contract with a public school district receive approval and certification for the services they provide. Public schools are responsible for providing students with a Free and Appropriate Public Education (FAPE). When a student’s needs cannot be fully met within the district, schools may partner with a certified Nonpublic Agency to provide specialized educational or related services.

Mind Metrics is proud to partner with school districts and educational teams to provide psychoeducational assessments, Independent Educational Evaluations (IEEs), counseling, behavioral supports, and related services aligned with each student’s Individualized Education Program (IEP). Our goal is to collaborate closely with school teams to support meaningful progress and positive student outcomes.
